Bullet Point 5 (of 12) - God will destroy Satan (misses the mark)

When I first heard the overview of the Exposition of the Divine Principle over a 2 day workshop the thing that most impressed me was that Satan was to be restored back to the original position, rather than destined to be destroyed. This is, of course, a huge difference to the usual understanding that Satan will be destroyed in the Last Days. This gave me a deeper appreciation of God who truly is Absolute and does not need to destroy the things that He made because there was nothing wrong with them. but that 'they' made a wrong choice that was only possible because of the very nature of the purpose for why they were made. Love requires freewill, and there is no way around that.

For something to be 'destroyed' can also mean that the person who made the lifestyle that is against the very core of the creation vows, at a fundamental level, to never even think in a dream of ever doing that again. This kind of 'destruction' I can identify with this and it sits well with an Absolute God who is unequivocally good, all the time.

Since it was Rev. Sun Myung Moon who has revealed this aspect of total restoration to the one of returning mankind to the state before the Fall, I can appreciate him as the one who has revealed a fundamental aspect of truth (aka realty) that was previously misunderstood, ie.: to expect God to destroy Satan. Praise God ! ! !

This new understanding removes the cognitive dissonance that would be caused by believing in an absolute good and powerful God (Who is the origin of the entire Universe, after all; and moreover together with the spiritual counterpart of that called the 'Cosmos') being inactive in removing Satan, and, inactive to the point of many doubting the existence of God at all!

To put it in a nutshell the existence of Satan and this dysfunctional world characterized by poverty, disease, theft, ignorance, strife, tears and bloodshed is because 'we the people' invited Satan in; and it is mankind (not God) who has to invite Satan out again. 

This is why the belief of Christians in the 'rapture' where the 'good' ones will be taken out of this world misses the mark, and has given rise to an otherworldly Christianity that is detached from the world we're actually living in. This is why Christianity is perceived by many, as being weak and irrelevant.

The purpose of these bullet points showing how Christianity is missing the mark is to encourage people of conscience, as well as deep thinking Christians, to realize that a fundamental spring cleaning is in order. If there is just one objection to the present day weak, ineffective and irrelevant Christianity it can be easily brushed off. But here are 12 points with concrete and tangible reasoning revealed by Rev. Moon.

There is evidence too that the 2nd advent already came between (or around) 1917 - 1930. Although people have dismissed this, no one has been able to say exactly why this evidence is faulty. Hmm.
