Bullet Point 4 (of 12) - Everlasting hell (misses the mark)

Picture
There are many verses in the Bible that indicate hell being eternal. Is it still good that fear of going there will encourage us to shape up and fly right?

Here are two points to consider. The first one is the obvious that if God had not created mankind then hell also would not exist. If hell truly is eternal, how does that sit well with a loving God?

Another point is that punishment, like everything else, does have a purpose. But, what is the purpose of everlasting hell? if that were true it would mean that punishment itself has no purpose. However much you regretted and vowed to make amends there would, ultimately, be no point to that at all.

This sounds more like the loving Heavenly Father (our God): Say to them, ‘As surely as I live, declares the Sovereign LORD, I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that they turn from their ways and live. Turn! Turn from your evil ways! Why will you die, people of Israel?’ (Ez.33:11)

The Bible is the word of God. So, how should the Bible verses indicating an eternal hell be read?

God, our Heavenly Father, is Eternal, Unchanging and Absolute. Just as God did not intervene in the Fall of Man to maintain the absoluteness and perfection of the Principle of Creation. Then there will forever, and eternally, be no compromise with something that is unprincipled. In this sense, and in this sense alone, hell is eternal.
To put it another way: if God were to interfere with human actions during their growing period, it would be tantamount to ignoring the human portion of responsibility. In that case, God would be disregarding His own Principle of Creation, according to which He intends to give human beings His creative nature and raise them to become the lords of creation. If the Principle were ignored, then its absoluteness and perfection would be undermined. Because God is the absolute and perfect Creator, His Principle of Creation must also be absolute and perfect.

To insist on everlasting hell, just because it is written so in the Bible is to be like a ‘slave to the letter of the law’ which was the reason the first chosen people failed to recognize and connect with Jesus as the substantial embodiment of the original ideal of God. Had they been able to believe in him whom He had sent, as Jesus indicated in Jn. 6:29 then they would never have had the Lord of Glory crucified by the Roman occupation.

The purpose of these bullet points, showing how present day Christianity has missed the mark, is to make it clear that an overhaul is needed. It is clear to me that present day Christianity is ill-equipped to recognize the 2nd Advent of Christ and is destined to make a similar mistake as the first chosen people. Since there is a false ruler, and false god, of this world (Jn.12:31; 2Cor.4:4) you should also be aware that the personage of the 2nd Advent will have a ‘bad press’. Incidentally we’re living, right now, in a time when the false god is actually being exposed; are you starting to see it too?

Here’s an invitation to a Spring seminar, March 18-20, at the Mountain Retreat in West Virginia, USA. “Mission of the Messiah” and “True Parents in the Completed Testament Age” among the topics. Attend in person, or on-line. Looking forward to seeing you there. Let’s get real about God!

Bullet Point 1 (of 12) - Jesus is God (misses the mark)

When Philip asked Jesus to show him God, Jesus said, “He who has seen me has seen the Father; how can you say, ‘Show us the Father?’ Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in me?” (Jn.14:9,10) It is written of Jesus, “He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world knew him not.” (Jn.1:10) Jesus also said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, before Abraham was, I am.” (Jn.8:58) Based on these biblical verses, many Christians have believed that Jesus is God, the Creator.

The relationship between God and Jesus may be thought of as analogous to the relationship between the mind and body. Because the body is the substantial object partner to the mind, resembles the mind and acts in oneness with the mind, it may be understood to be the mind’s second self; but it is not the mind itself. By analogy, since Jesus is one with God and the incarnation of God, he may be understood to be God’s second self; but he is not God.

The Bible refers to Jesus as the Word made flesh. (Jn.1:14) This verse means that Jesus is the incarnation of the Word; that is, a man in whom the Word comes alive. We read that all things were made through the Word, and further, that the world was made through Jesus. (Jn.1:3, 10) Hence, Jesus may be said to be the creator.

Jesus also said, “Before Abraham was, I am.” (Jn.8:58) Jesus was the descendant of Abraham. Yet with respect to the providence of restoration, Jesus is the ancestor of Abraham because, as the one to give rebirth to all humankind, he came in the position of their first ancestor. We should understand that Jesus did not mean by this saying that he is God Himself.
It is written that since his resurrection, Jesus has been interceding for us before God (Rom.8:34) as he did while he was on earth. (Lk.23:34) If Jesus were God, how could he intercede for us before Himself? Moreover, Jesus called God “Father,” thus acknowledging that he was not God Himself. (Jn.17:1) If Jesus were God, how could He be tempted by Satan, as Jesus was? We can conclude with finality that Jesus was not God Himself from the words he uttered on the cross, “My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” (Mt.27:46)

Jesus is a man who has fulfilled the purpose of creation. It is written: For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus. (ITm. 2:5) For as by one man’s [Adam’s] disobedience many were made sinners, so by one man’s [Jesus’] obedience many will be made righteous. (Rm.5:19) For as by a man [Adam] came death, by a man [Jesus] has come also the resurrection of the dead. (I Cor.15:21) He has fixed a day on which he will judge the world in righteousness by a man whom he has appointed. (Acts 17:31) Thus, the Bible demonstrates plainly that Jesus is a man. Above all, he had to come as a human being that he might become the True Parent who can give rebirth to human beings.

This is evidence that Christianity in asserting that Jesus is God has missed the mark, and is in need of an overhaul.

This implies that we need to believe in, and follow, Jesus so that 'we the people' can emulate him and become 'perfect as Heavenly Father is perfect' as Jesus advised in Mt.5:48.

Another evidence that the 1st chosen people rejecting Jesus did not accomplish the Will of God.

Bullet Point 12 (of 12) – God Sends Sinners to hell (misses the mark)

2/13/2022

Picture
Bullet Point 12 (of 12): God Sends Sinners to hell (misses the mark). This is not so. People who have judgement over life and death in the courts become strange after more than 10 years of doing that and need to do something else. And those who choose to do counselling need a counsellor from time to time.

What kind of loving God would compel someone to go to hell – and what would He do with borderline cases? If this kind of God concerns you then read on. God really gave us freewill and this is not some kind of concept.

We do need to understand the implications of what it means to have been created in the image of God (Gen.1:27) first of all.

Our spirit self, or spirit, is a substantial yet incorporeal reality which can be apprehended only through the spiritual senses. It is the subject partner to our physical self. Our spirit can communicate directly with God and is meant to govern the incorporeal world, including the angels. In appearance our spirit self matches our physical self. After we shed the physical self, we enter the spirit world and live there for eternity. The reason we desire an eternal life is because our innermost self is the spirit self which has an eternal nature. Our spirit self consists of the dual characteristics of spirit mind (subject partner) and spirit body (object partner). The spirit mind is the center of the spirit self, and it is where God dwells.

The spirit grows through give and take action between two types of nourishment: life elements of a yang type that come from God, and vitality elements of a yin type that come from the physical self. The spirit self not only receives vitality elements from the physical self; it also returns an element to the physical self which we call the living spirit element.
The spirit can grow only while it abides in the flesh. Thus, the relationship between the physical self and the spirit self is similar to that between a tree and its fruit. The spirit self can attain perfection only during a person’s earthly life. The spirit mind guides the spirit self as it grows in the soil of the physical self. The growth of the spirit self toward perfection progresses through the three orderly stages ordained by the Principle of Creation. A spirit in the formation stage of life is called a form spirit; in the growth stage, a life spirit; and in the completion stage, a divine spirit.

A spirit fully matures as a divine spirit when the person’s spirit self and physical self unite through perfect give and take action centered on God and form the four position foundation. A divine spirit can accurately feel and perceive every reality in the spirit world.

It is not God who decides whether a person’s spirit enters heaven or hell upon his death; it is decided by the spirit himself. Humans are created so that once they reach perfection they will fully breathe the love of God. Those who committed sinful deeds while on earth become crippled spirits who are incapable of fully breathing in the love of God. They find it agonizing to stand before God, the center of true love. Of their own will, they choose to dwell in hell, far removed from the love of God.

Bullet Point 11 (of 12) - Last Days Rapture!

2/10/2022

Picture
Bullet Point 11 (of 12): In the Last Days a 'rapture' will occur. Mostly from Thess.4:16-18, but also from Matt. 24:30,31 & Mk.13:24-27.

Firstly, those who believe in the rapture are naturally discouraged from striving to make changes on this earth, because those who are favored by God are destined to be taken away from the earth by this event.

This flies in the face of what Jesus said to Peter when he blessed him for recognizing him as the Christ, the son of the living God. Matt. 16:19 (and also in Matt.18:18). "...I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.”

Another evidence that expectations of the rapture are frivolous are from the record of how the second coming of Elijah actually occurred. No one knew when the Messiah would come but they knew that Elijah had to come first. There is a record in 2Kings2:11 that Elijah ascended into heaven in a fiery chariot. So, naturally there must have been many who thought that it would be impossible to miss the return of Elijah promised in the Malachi prophecy (Mal.4:5)

Yet, Jesus declared, speaking of John the Baptist, "...And if you are willing to receive it, he is Elijah who is to come." No literal descent from heaven, but another man, born on the earth, with a different name. Similarly the references to the rapture in the Bible are not to be taken literally.
A third reason that the rapture is not something that you should expect, is that there is evidence that the 2nd Coming already took place. And, because it didn't align with the doctrine of the Church centered Christianity, has gone largely unnoticed. If you think this is beyond belief you need to reconsider that the first chosen people still, to this day, are awaiting the first coming. Why should it seem so strange that the 2nd chosen people (aka Christianity) would not make a similar humongous mistake. I am personally of the opinion that Church centered Christians will be among the very last to connect with the 2nd Advent of Christ.

Here is where to check the evidence that the 2 A of Christ took place shortly after WW1.

I delivered Bullet Point 8 to a street in my neighborhood today and, shortly after, the wife of a Sunday School teacher appeared like a thundercloud at my door with the unopened letter returned into our mailbox and stated, in no uncertain terms, that she wanted no more letters from me. Out of the nearly 100 that I gave out it was a Church centered Christian who returned it without even engaging with the different point of view.

It was mankind (1st ancestors) who invited Satan in. So, isn't it more likely that it will not be God, but 'we the people' who should invite Satan out again? Hoping that you'll start to consider putting expectations of 'rapture' in the trash can, where they belong.

Let's get real about our own portion of responsibility with regard to the kingdom of heaven and our relationship with God. Let's think too about True Parents as the goal of restoration history, that were lost with the Fall of Man, rather than thinking about the terms Christ, or Messiah. St Paul did, rightly, equate Jesus with Adam after all.

Here is an invitation to a Spring Workshop (March 18-20) with one of the topics being, "True Parents and the Completed Testament Age." It can be attended in person at a mountain retreat in West Virginia, USA, or on-line.

Bullet Point 8 (of 12) - Christianity Missed the Mark!

Picture
Bullet Point 8 (of 12): Christianity asserts that John the Baptist succeeded and completely fulfilled the purpose that God had for him. I have even seen churches dedicated to St. John the Baptist.

But, he couldn't have failed more completely if he had tried!

The Chosen People of 2000 years ago did not know when the Messiah would come. But they did know that Elijah would come first because God had told them so - in the prophecy in Malachi 4:5. There was a deafening silence for 400 years after this final word from the Old Testament era, which only served to emphasize its importance.

“See, I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes ..." (NIV)

Yet, there is no record of John the Baptist actually following and attending Jesus. For those who are OK with John the Baptist not being the chief disciple of Jesus (instead of Peter) then there's no hope of reasoning with you. You may leave the room . . .
It gets worse though. John the Baptist denied that he was the Elijah (Jn.1:21) even though Jesus asserted that he was (Matt.11:14). Even if he denied that he was the Elijah before he was aware of what Jesus said regarding this, there is no record of him rescinding this false statement. From the point of view of the then chosen people if there was no Elijah (as per Mal.4:5) then there was no Messiah. John the Baptist, son of a High Priest, must have been aware of the significance of this singular prophecy.

How did Jesus sum up the position of John? "He who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." (Matt.11:11)

John was beheaded due to the wishes of a dancing girl, even though Herod did not want to do that. John's life became a thing that was worthless as trash because he refused to attend Jesus as Messiah, and so his life ended that way.

John the Baptist who should have made straight the way of the Lord (Mal.3:1; Isa.40:3) thus became, instead, a major stumbling block and was the main reason why people were reluctant to follow Jesus as the One chosen by God.

Bullet point 8, thus, missed the mark completely, right? clearly showing that Christianity needs an overhaul.

Forthcoming workshop in Spring (March 18, 19 and 20). 'Mission of the Messiah' and 'True Parents and the Completed Testament Age' among the topics. (link here)

A Whole New Level

2/5/2022

The 2nd Advent will bring a whole new level of awareness regarding our relationship with God, our Heavenly Father. The new age that will be ushered in by the 2nd Advent will be as different and revolutionary with respect to the New Testament Age as the New Testament Age was shocking and revolutionary to the adherents of the Old Testament Age.

I was writing about 7 bullet points where I feel that Christianity has seriously missed the point and intended to write about each one. But then I realized that present day Christianity has no clue or concept of the God of grief that resulted from the Fall; thinking that God is aloof from all the craziness of this fallen world while He sits on a throne of glory. If we are created by God, 'Just because He could', as asserted by the James River Church here is Springfield then that would probably be so. I think that this view is not exclusive to this church.

Present day Christians are of the opinion that Jesus came to die for our sins. He was the perfect sacrifice to end all the sacrifices of the Old Testament Age. But, in order for Jesus to be executed, the then chosen people had to disbelieve in Jesus as the Messiah. This is a 'cognitive dissonance' that lies at the heart of present day Christianity. Jesus prayer (The Lord's Prayer) doesn't talk about this. It says, "Our Father, who is in Heaven, Your Name is exalted! Your KIngdom come! Your Will be done on earth, as it is in Heaven. . ." So, was it really God's Will that Jesus be disbelieved so that he could be executed and become the perfect sacrifice?

Just as Christians can't seem to relate with the God of grief, revealed by Rev. Moon, so also they don't relate with the idea that human beings must necessarily have a portion of responsibility with which even God cannot interfere with or intervene in. Why is this? Because we are made in the image of God. If God were to interfere with the fulfillment of mankind's portion of responsibility it would mean that we would never be able to fulfill the original purpose of Creation - but would be forever crippled, and, furthermore, because God intervened in something that was initiated by Satan, would mean that Satan would be a co-creator of some new principle that could then never be undone.

This is a significant difference to the concept of freewill. People generally seem to grasp that humanity must have that. It is implied in the Bible after all. But that God cannot interfere with, or intervene in, humankind’s portion of responsibility takes this to another level. This explains why God could not intervene in the Fall of Man even though He knew that it was taking place. The ‘commandment’ that God gave was  more than enough to negate (diffuse) the temptation from Satan had the first human ancestors taken it seriously. The give and take relationship would have been easily broken by holding on to that commandment (Gen2:17) and satan’s sales talk would have been easily stopped by reminding satan of God’s word. For example, Jesus didn’t reason with Satan when he was tempted in the wilderness, but used God’s Words as recorded in the Book of Deuteronomy to counter each one.

So, what is the original relationship that mankind was supposed to have with God. The commonly held view that Jesus is God contains a clue toward understanding that. Love is the greatest thing out of all that could be named. It is of greater value than life. St. Paul writing of Love in his first letter to the people of Corinth stated that love was of more value than faith or hope. You could suppose that God could manufacture or produce love all by Himself but it is not so. Love requires a reciprocal partner, at least 'one other'. Rev. Moon revealed that God creating mankind, in His image, was in order to create this 'one other'. Mankind with the myriad of unique characters in the image of God was to be this 'one other' as an object partner in Love for God. This is why the purpose of Creation is best summed up by 1 Corinthians 3:16 which says, "Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the spirit of God dwells in you?" Jesus was, simply, the first person to actually accomplish this - therefore he could say, "If you've seen me you have seen God. Jesus was the substantial manifestation of God and the relationship that God had with Jesus was similar to that between mind and body.

This is why Jesus advised us to, "Become perfect as Heavenly Father is perfect." (Matt5:48) And why he also, seemingly perplexingly stated, that we would do better things than he had done. (John 14:12)

So, these two things are new. That God is a God of sorrow and grief because of the Fall of Man. And that humankind has a portion of responsibility with which even God cannot interfere with, or intervene in. This makes sense of why God seems to not exist - because He does not interfere in our portion of responsibility and the history of restoration has been very long indeed because of this.
Picture
The time is counted in generations from Adam to Noah and it seems that only ten of those generations (which were meaningful) were recorded. There is no record, for example, of Adam interacting with others in those 10 generations, even though Adam lived to 930 years. Similarly from Noah to Abraham, where a generation lasted only 40 years (not 160 as before the flood) the 10 generations are counted as 400 years. So, even though the time from Adam to Abraham was 2,000 Biblical years, in actual measured time this was probably 100s of thousands of years, or more.

Resurrection means the process through which a fallen person is restored to the original state as intended by God. The providence of resurrection thus means the providence of restoration. Since the providence of restoration is God’s work of re-creation, resurrection is a work of re-creation. Thus, the providence of resurrection is carried out in accordance with the Principle of Creation, in the following manner.

First, in the history of the providence of resurrection, many of those who were entrusted with a mission exerted themselves with utmost sincerity and faith to realize the Will of Heaven. Even though they may not have fully carried out their responsibilities, based on their devotion, they broadened the foundation upon which subsequent generations can form a relationship of heart with God. We call this foundation the merit of the age in the providence of restoration. The merit of the age has increased in proportion to the foundation of heart laid by the prophets, sages and righteous people who came before us. Therefore, resurrection is carried out based on the merit of the age.

Second, according to the Principle of Creation, it was God’s responsibility to create human beings and give them His Word, while it was the human portion of responsibility to reach perfection by believing in and living according to it. Similarly, in conducting the providence of resurrection, God’s responsibility is to give us His Word and guidance, and our responsibility is to believe and practice it in order to fulfill the providence.

Third, according to the Principle of Creation, a person’s spirit can grow to perfection only through the physical self. Likewise, in the providence of resurrection, the resurrection of a spirit can be achieved only through earthly life.

Fourth, according to the Principle of Creation, a person is meant to reach perfection through the three ordered stages of the growing period. Therefore, the providence of resurrection for fallen people is also to be completed through three ordered stages, manifested as three ages in the providence of restoration.

Understanding about the human portion of responsibility will make it plain why Jesus needed a response from the people. But there was no one who truly believed in Jesus while he was alive on the earth. It was only after Jesus' death and resurrection when the gift of the Holy Spirit came that the followers of Jesus started to realize who he truly was.

Jesus compared the people of his time to those in the market place who didn't dance when a tune was played, and didn't weep when a dirge was played. He also stated that the Chosen People did not know the time of their visitation. When asked by two disciples what they should be doing to do the will of God. Jesus replied that they should believe in him whom He had sent. It was clear that the then Chosen people were supposed to believe in, and follow, Jesus as the long awaited Messiah. The fact that their history since Jesus' death on the cross has been miserable, to say the least, does seem to indicate that they (the then Chosen People) did not accomplish God's Will.

We're in the time of the 2nd Advent and there are indications that it is likely the 2nd Advent will occur in the same way as Jesus did - born on the Earth. (new name . . .) That would give rise to the 2nd Advent being likely to first suffer and be rejected as Jesus indicted in Luke 17:25. And for the more scary warning in Matt, 7:21-23, right?

Hoping that Christianity can be raised up to a new level where they will be equipped with the God centered ideology that can more than match the godless ideology of communism. Christianity was astonishingly easily brushed aside during the plandemic.

The God of Grief!

1/29/2022

Here's another evidence that Christianity, in its current form, has seriously missed the Mark. The popular view of God is that He's sitting on His throne of glory but, in stark contrast, the God revealed by Rev. Moon was one of grief and sorrow. There was a song, more than a decade ago, asking, "What if God was one of us?" by Alanis Morissette that, although crude, is a much more accurate description of God's true status.

This is not really described in detail in the Bible - the most clear reference being the one in Genesis 6:6 declaring that, 'God was sorry that He had made man on the earth, and that He was grieved in His heart'. I think that this glaring omission (lack of understanding of the God of grief) also has to do with a lack of understanding of the human portion of responsibility (with which even God cannot interfere with, or intervene in) that is connected with the essential reason as to why God created mankind at all.

For example, a common understanding is that God will some day save us from Satan. But, consider this: it was mankind who invited Satan in at the terrible event of the Fall of Man. So it is 'we the people', not God, who must invite Satan out again.

In an earlier post I explained the significance of God creating us in His image and this is what we need to connect with. Not an intellectual understanding of God, but a real relationship - which means that we (too) need to become 'Word made flesh'.

We need to deeply realize that we are the children of God (not some kind of pet) and God is deeply concerned about each and every one of us. We are, after all, individual truth bodies in image of God, whereas all other creation are individual truth bodies in symbol.

The implications of the Absolute and Eternal God are not properly understood either. If God is absolute, for example, He cannot simply destroy Satan (that also had his origin in God) as then God would patently be not absolute. The first thing that really impressed me when I first came across the teaching of Rev. Moon was the assertion that even Satan would have to be restored! That's very different from destroying Satan, right?

Let's go through this reasoning (although Christians don't seem to like logic and reasoning very much) together. Even God says let us reason together - in Isaiah; one of my favorite books of the Bible.

Love necessarily requires reciprocity. It would be strange for a famous operatic singer stranded on an uninhabited island to sing loudly and passionately, as an example. Again, when we're talking with someone and they turn away, or turn their back on us and walk away, it's difficult to continue, right? Love requires an object partner, at least 'one other'. The fundamental reason for the Creation of God was to add a new dimension to Love by Creating in His Image an object partner. Mankind is this 'one other' and we were supposed to become the temple of God. Jesus became a 'temple of God, and 1 Corinthians 3:16 shows that we aspire to become that also. And, of course, Jesus' saying that we must become 'perfect like God (Matt 5:48)

Of course there is 1 Corinthians 13 that talks about love; but what about this:

To resemble God, the original Being of true love, we should become the owners of true love. We should embody true love and practice it in order to develop our character. This is the way each of us can become true parents.

What is a life of true love? True love is the spirit of public service. It brings the peace that is at the root of happiness. Selfish love is a mask of the desire to have one’s partner exist for one’s own sake; true love is free from that corruption. Rather, its  essence is to give, to live for the sake of others and for the sake of the whole. True love gives, forgets that it has given, and continues to give without ceasing.

True love gives joyfully. We find it in the joyful and loving heart of a mother who cradles her baby in her arms and nurses it at her breast. True love is sacrificial love, as with a devoted son who gains his greatest satisfaction in helping his parents. God created the universe out of just such love: absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal, investing everything without any expectation or condition of receiving something in return.

True love is the wellspring of the universe. Once we possess it, true love makes us the centers and the owners of the universe. True love is God’s essence and the manifestation of His will and power. When we are bound together in true love, we can be together forever, in the continually increasing joy of each other’s company. The attraction of true love brings all things in the universe to our feet; even God will come to dwell with us.
Picture
Nothing can compare to the value of true love. It has the power to dissolve the barriers fallen people have created, including national boundaries and the barriers of race and even religion.

The main attributes of true love are that it is absolute, unique, unchanging and eternal, so that whoever practices God’s true love will live with God, share His happiness, and enjoy the right to participate as an equal in His work. Therefore, a life lived for the sake of others, a life of true love, is the absolute prerequisite for entering the kingdom of heaven.

Considering that true Love was lost as a direct result of the Fall means that God lost to Satan all that He had worked to create. Because Satan took mankind (first parents) who were the pinnacle of creation, Satan came to have dominion over everything else as well. This is why Satan is described, in the Bible, as being the false ruler (Jn12:31) and as the false god (2Cor4:4) of this world. Can You start to see why to consider God as a God of grief makes absolute and perfect sense?

God is like a father who labored and sweated his entire life to accumulate assets for his children, only to have a thief steal everything overnight.

We are, at the time of writing, near the end of the year of the OX. This has been a time for awakening for many people as the division between 'O' being the correct answer, from 'X' being the false answer, has never been more apparent. (see Peace Message 17) What has taken place this year has given us a window, in real time, on the 'false ruler' and 'false god' of this world. We can see in the current administration here in the USA an almost desperate desire to destroy this great nation in the shortest possible time. But also in many nations throughout the world. Does this all feel like the veritable Last Days to You?

It should. (because it is!)

We need to get wise to our own portion of responsibility and realize that, right now, is the time of judgement based on the choices that we make: essentially whether we choose to live for the sake of the whole purpose (as does God) or to live for the selfish (and immature) purpose (as does the false god). We should really stop thinking in apocalyptic terms and realize that all these indications of the Last Days described in the Bible are described figuratively and not (at all) literally.

There is evidence that the 2nd Advent of Christ must have already come between the years of 1917 and 1930. You owe it to yourself to check out this evidence before summarily dismissing it. St Paul did say to 'test all things, and hold fast to what is good, right?

As the 2nd coming took place already it means that it could not have taken place in a supernatural manner - as literally described in the Bible. Considering what the Messiah has to accomplish it should become apparent that he will have  to be born on the earth (as was Jesus) and this will make sense of the Christ coming with a 'new name' from the book of Revelation in the Bible. It will also make sense of the warnings that Jesus gave concerning the 2nd Advent - such as Lk18:8; Lk 17;25 and the very scary Matt 7:21-23. If you are on board with Satan being the false ruler and false god then you'll be primed already to expect that the person of the 2nd Advent will have a very 'bad press'. Now we should all understand, at a fundamental and real level, how destructive a bad press, fake news media is. Right?

Hoping that there are a sufficient number of conscientious people and real Christians who can start to engage with this new understanding. All these demonstrations - like the more than 60 miles line of truckers, are getting people together like never before. So we can actually talk together, too.

The purpose of this website is to put this new teaching in an accessible manner which is also accurate, in that the pdf versions align with the actual printed versions. Important if we're truly to become 'Word made flesh'.

Looking forward to hearing your impressions, feedback and critique. We should be able to reason together after all.

Thanking You and wishing you a successful conclusion to the year of the OX, and a Happy New Year ! (of Tiger).

Happy True God's Day ! ! !

7 Bullet points - Xtianity missed the Mark

So far I have found 7 major 'bullet points' where Xtianity has missed the mark.
  • Jesus is GOD
  • Jesus came to die
  • Inferred, from present Christian understanding, that God is a psychopath (made a test - You fail You die)
  • Everlasting hell (punishment has no purpose)
  • Satan will be destroyed (therefore God cannot be Absolute)
  • God can do anything He likes (wrong understanding of AllPowerful/ Almighty)
  • God will save us from Satan (we 'mankind' invited Satan in - not God)
Xtianity being shorthand for Crosstianity: my new term for Christians who have missed the fundamental purpose of Christ

This is out of love for my brothers and sisters who are in danger of being told, by Christ, "I never knew You, depart from me you evil doers!" (Matthew 7:21-23)

Xtians also say that Rev Moon declared that Jesus failed his primary mission BUT Jesus did not fail (at all) - the then Chosen People failed to connect with Jesus (as the Word made flesh) Had they really connected with Jesus then how could they have even thought about Jesus having to be killed . . .(as the perfect sacrifice)

Let's get started.

Bullet Point 1:  Jesus is God - misses the Mark

The same could have been said about Adam had he not fallen - Adam is God. After all Adam was created in the image of God. The unfallen Adam who grew to maturity would have been the substantial image of God. The children of the unfallen Adam and Eve who reached maturity would have 'seen' the image of God in their parents. This is why Jesus said, "Believe in me" before he started trying to explain through parables and metaphor. This essentially is what parents should do; become role models for their children; not so much in what they say, but in what they do.

St. Paul was inspired when he equated Jesus with Adam. As by one man all died, so by one man, Jesus, all could be brought back to life. (Rom 5) and called Jesus 'the last Adam' in 1 Cor. 15:45.

So, Jesus is the Adam who got victory whereas the first Adam who fell became the fallen parent. The first Adam became the temple of Satan whereas Jesus became the temple of God. This is why I believe that 1 Corinthians 3:16 sums up Christ, and the purpose of Creation, much more than the usually quoted John 3:16.

Jesus in accomplishing what Adam failed to do became, for the first time, the 'Word' made flesh. The relationship that God (our Heavenly Father) was supposed to have with Humankind is similar to the relationship between the mind and body in a fully mature person like Jesus. Because Jesus became 'Word made Flesh' he could be said to be God. Just as someone could look at You (your body) and say that they've seen you.

But your body is not actually 'You' as you will find out when 'You' die.
Although there are many Bible verses which seem to show that Jesus is God there are two which patently don't. One is the prayer that Jesus made in the Garden of Gethsemane where he entreated God to take away the cup of death, but, then concluded his prayer with, "but, not as I will but as You will." The other is, of course, Jesus' cry from the cross, "My God, my God, why have You forsaken me?"

Just as with the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve, who needed a proper response and attitude to the commandment that God gave forbidding them to eat of the 'fruit'. That is, whatever clever words the archangel used to entice disobedience, could be shut off by holding fast to that commandment. So also the then chosen people needed a proper response with respect to Jesus who is perfectly aligned with God (Word made Flesh) to believe in him. This is why Jesus' reply to disciples asking, "what they should do to be doing the work of God" was answered by Jesus telling them to, "believe in the one whom God had sent."

Jesus being the true Adam also makes sense of the words of Jesus encouraging us to, "Be perfect as your Heavenly Father is perfect" (Matt. 5:48) and also when he said that you will do better things than he has done (Jn. 14:12)

If Jesus really is God then it would be like trying to emulate, or copy, Superman, who came from another planet and had superpowers. That doesn't make logical sense.

Nathan Hale, an America patriot, is reported to have said, as he was about to be executed, that he regretted that he had but one life to give for his country. Jesus being the Son of God cannot be any less that any of the great men who have given their lives for the sake of noble causes. The prayer of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane has been misunderstood as Jesus displaying a human weakness and fear of death. This is an affront to Jesus who was looking for a way to fulfill his primary mission of bringing the Kingdom of Heaven by fulfilling his role as true Adam and, by extension, true parent. The then chosen people refusing to believe in Jesus as one sent by God conspired to have him killed and so the restoration was spiritual only. Jesus prayed the way he did as he knew this, and that Christians who followed him would also necessarily have to go the way of death too. This is why the history of Christianity has been one of martyrdom. And why the re-birth from  Jesus and the Holy Spirit to Christian parents cannot be passed on to their progeny.

This is why Christ has to come a 2nd time. And why the 2nd Coming of Christ cannot be in a supernatural way but born on the earth as was Jesus. This is also why it says in the Bible that he will come with a New Name. (Rev. 2:17; 3;12)

Thinking that Jesus is God will lead to an expectation of a supernatural Last Days and to completely missing the real LSA (Lord of the 2nd Advent) All mankind became estranged from God through the terrible event of the Fall of the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve, who became false (fallen) parents - it makes a lot of sense, therefore, that our expectations should be focused on a true Adam and Eve as True Parents. The True Adam (LSA) will restore his bride as a reversal of the Fall.

There are 'basic points' towards the bottom of the Home page of this website that are putting a different take on the same Bible content that will open up a whole new understanding of the entire Bible.

We are living in the time of the veritable Last Days right now and we need to have the right understanding to formulate an appropriate strategy. Bear in mind that we do have a portion of responsibility with which even God cannot interfere as a unavoidable by-product of having been created in the image of God.

Looking forward to hearing your critique and comments. We should be able to reason together, right?

the "LAST DAYS" - are we there yet . . . ?

There are lots of signs of the Last Days described in the Bible and for whether to take them literally or figuratively I would recommend to look here first.

Here are some things that have been happening close to home, here in America, just since the last few years.

Due to the 'plandemic' the government, at both state and federal level, has assumed emergency powers which have resulted in mandates for both masks and vaccines, lockdowns and now the real possibility of vaccine passports. Churches were arbitrarily shut down together with 'non-essential businesses'. Many, who refused to succumb to getting the 'shot', have lost their jobs leading to supply chain issues (bareshelvesbiden) and shortages. This nation has gone from energy independence to importing energy, increasing the cost of goods through increased transportation costs. The Southern border of the USA has become an open one leading to increases of welfare, crime (human trafficking and drugs like fentanyl) as well as an increase in Covid positive cases that negate the demands of American citizens being mandated to be fully vaccinated which includes having to take booster shots. An astonishing number of illegal aliens (probably more than 2 million) have made it across the southern border just in one year. Inflation is at a high since 40 years.

The greatest threat to the USA, from a study requested by president Joe Biden from his first day in office, has concluded that domestic terrorists - those who disapprove of the present administration - are the ones who need to be investigated and shut down. January 6th is known as "Insurrection Day" in spite of no-one, so far, being actually charged with insurrection. Moreover only one person was shot, a Trump supporter Ashli Babbitt, and this was in very questionable circumstances by a Capitol Police officer, Lt. Michael Byrd. Surveillance camera recordings of the security breach of the Capitol Building have been kept under wraps, and Byrd never had to invoke his 5th Amendment rights. Those who were found to have trespassed the Capitol Building are still in solitary confinement.

In Australia quarantine centers are being established to detain those non-compliant with the draconian laws imposed by the Australia government. Those who have seen 'Crocodile Dundee' could never imagine that such a laid back image could turn ultra socialist so fast. And you think that it could never happen here in the USA?

The withdrawal from Afghanistan last summer left many Americans speechless. This has led to 'rumors of wars' if not the actual hostilities yet.
The Justice Departments in Democrat run cities have been compromised by funding of particular candidates soft on crime by people like Soros. Crime has increased dramatically in those places with smash and grab even taking place in daylight.

It seems that the current administration itself is hell-bent on destroying this great nation of America in the shortest possible time. If you wondered what the false ruler (John 12:31) and false god (2 Cor.4:4) looks like then you can get a pretty good idea by looking at what has been happening in the USA since 2020 November. The main stream media seem to be also supporting the government narrative such that people were truly surprised to find out what actually happened in the Kyle Rittenhouse case v what had been reported.

All these things are really unsettling, if not scary. And, short of an actual hot war, you wonder how it could get any worse.

But it can't be the LAST DAYS because the 2nd Advent didn't yet take place, right?

Remembering how the 1st Chosen People failed to recognize the real Messiah, Jesus, should forewarn you to be not too surprised to learn that the 2nd 'chosen people' (Christianity) have made a similar mistake because their expectation was not in alignment with what actually happened.

There is evidence that the 2nd Advent took place already shortly after the first World War. The Messiah was born on the earth as was Jesus. This would make sense of the prophecy that the 2nd Coming has a New Name, right?

Understanding what the Messiah has to accomplish would also lead to the conclusion that the 2nd Advent would HAVE to be born on the earth and couldn't possibly happen in a supernatural way. For a clue regarding this look no further than the 2nd Coming of Elijah and John the Baptist.

Where to find the evidence that the 2nd Advent must have taken place already can be found here and there are some chapters that you will need to check out. In my Christmas message I pointed out that you will have to verify for yourself and can't rely on others to tell you.

Just remember that the 1st Chosen People are still waiting for the first coming! How likely is it that the 2nd Chosen People (Christianity) could make a similar humungous mistake?

Even when we're looking for something that we've lost, but don't have a clear idea what it looks like, we can have this thing right in front of our nose and still not see it!

There are a lot of problems with the present Christian understanding which has led to its inherent weakness: Jesus is God, Jesus came to die, and God is a 'psychopathic God' to make a test that if you fail it you die. I will explore these in detail next week . . .

Made in His image!

Here is the Bible quote:
Then God said, “Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness, so that they may rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky, over the livestock and all the wild animals, and over all the creatures that move along the ground.” So God created mankind in His own image, in the image of God He created them; male and female He created them. God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (NIV)

Martin Luther is reported to have said that if he understood the first two words of the 'Lord's Prayer' in the same way that Jesus did, then everything would naturally, and spontaneously, fall into perfect alignment with God.

It is important to understand the significance of the implications of this Bible verse, for us to realize why God created mankind at all! We would then have a totally new view of the singular importance of Jesus, as the Messiah, who is in total alignment with God. This is fundamentally different from the current erroneous Christian understanding that Jesus is God. (Matt.27:46) Jesus is someone whom we should emulate - a 'Batman' if you will, rather than a 'Superman'.

Here is something to consider: what is the value of someone who has fulfilled the ideal of Creation in total alignment with God's original ideal?

First, the relationship between God and a fully mature person resembles the relationship between the dual characteristics. Human beings were created with mind and body in the likeness of the dual characteristics of God. Similarly, the relationship between God and a person who has attained perfection of individual character may be compared to that between the dual characteristics of a person, that is, between mind and body. Just as the body is created in the likeness of the intangible mind to be its substantial object partner, a human being is created in the likeness of the intangible God to be His substantial object partner. Just as there is inseparable oneness between the mind and body of a true person centered on God, there is inseparable oneness between God and a true person who together form a four position foundation. In that union, the person experiences the Heart of God as his own reality. Having a fully mature character, such a person is a temple of God, in whom God can dwell continually, and comes to possess a divine nature. (1 Cor. 3:16) Jesus spoke of this state of perfection, saying “You, therefore, must be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” (Matt. 5:48) Thus, we see that a person who has realized the purpose of creation assumes a divine value, comparable to God.

Second, let us consider the value of a human being from the perspective of the purpose for which he was created. God created human beings for the purpose of sharing joy with them. Every human being possesses a unique individual character. No matter how many billions of people are born on the earth, no two will ever have exactly the same personality. Each person is God’s substantial object partner who manifests a distinctive aspect of God’s dual characteristics. Hence, that person is the only one in the entire universe who can stimulate that distinctive aspect of God’s nature to bring Him joy. Every person who has completed the purpose of creation is thus a unique existence in the cosmos. We can thus affirm the truth in the Buddha’s saying, “In heaven and on earth, I alone am the honored one.”

Third, let us consider the value of a human being based on his relationship with the universe, as clarified by the Principle of Creation. A person who has completed the purpose of creation can govern the entire universe. (Gen. 1:28) Possessing both spirit and flesh, he can rule the spirit world with his spirit self and the physical world with his physical self. With human beings acting as mediators, the two worlds enter into a reciprocal relationship and form a unified cosmos which is a complete object partner to God.

We have learned through the Principle of Creation that the universe is the substantial unfolding of the dual characteristics of a human being. A person’s spirit encapsulates all elements of the spirit world while his flesh encapsulates all elements of the physical world. A person who has completed the purpose of creation thus encapsulates all the essences of everything in the cosmos. This is why a human being is called a microcosm of the universe. For these reasons, a human being has the value of the entire cosmos. We can thus understand the saying of Jesus in a new light, “For what will it profit a man, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his life?” (Matt. 16:26)

Some may ask, who is the 'us' that God is talking to from that Bible quote. It was the angels who were created before the creation of mankind. The role of angels being in the role of servant rather than the role of children that was the purpose of mankind.
Jesus was the very first who fulfilled the purpose of Creation originally intended by God. St Paul was correct in equating Jesus with Adam. Jesus is the new Adam, replacing the one who fell bringing death to the world and our separation from God. This is why the world is dysfunctional and it won't end until the false ruler (John 12:31) and false god (2 Cor. 4:4) of this world is deposed. Since mankind (first ancestors) invited Satan in by disregarding God's Commandment, it is not God, but mankind, who must dis-invite Satan out. Can You see that this is a completely fresh look at the role of the Messiah.

Rev. Moon coined a new term, "True Parents", which more accurately describes the goal of restorational history than does Messiah or Christ. This dysfunctional world resulted from fallen first parents (Adam and Eve) who sowed the seed of false lineage. This is in line with Jesus talking with Nicodemus of the need for re-birth and, incidentally, why Jesus said to, "eat his body and drink his blood otherwise we would have no life in us." A lot of disciples left when Jesus said this - it was a 'hard teaching'.

Accepting this line of reasoning (too logical for Christians? . . .) leads to a new expectation for the 2nd Coming of Christ. It CANNOT be in a magical way on literal clouds but has to be 'born on the earth' (with a New Name) just as was Jesus!

The first chosen people made a huge mistake in rejecting, and treating as an imposter, Jesus who truly was sent by God. Here's another indication of that. There is a prophecy that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem (as Jesus was) yet no-one of the then chosen people (who knew of this prophecy) built even a small hut to cater for this eventuality and Jesus, as You know was born in a stable. How terrible that Jesus was not prepared for more nicely.

In line with this understanding Rev Moon, as an example that God cannot do anything He likes, stated, "Can God Love all by Himself?" Love requires at least one other and God is One. Mankind was created by God to be this 'at least one other'. Of course, God is the reality of the number three since he is the harmonization of the dual essentialities that can be seen throughout the whole of the Creation. The most fundamental set of dual essentialities being that of Internal (invisible) character and (visible) external form; and the secondary set of dual essentialities that of Masculinity and Femininity. This is why we call God "Heavenly Father", as He is the internal subject over everything that we can see. This includes the spiritual counterpart too - forming the Cosmos.

This is the reason that it states in the Bible that God was grieved in His Heart due to the Fall. (Gen.6:6) Christianity has a real problem connecting with the God of grief that Rev Moon revealed but it does make sense. Naturally to suppose that the rejection of Jesus by the then chosen people, which resulted in Jesus being executed, was not at all God's Will - but the desire of Satan. Satan had to use his maximum power to have Jesus executed. Because of Jesus' unwavering loyalty to the fulfillment of God's Will, God could use His maximum power, which resulted in Jesus' resurrection for 40 days. This commenced the parallel period of the 'prolongation of restoration' to prepare again for the 2nd Coming of Christ.

As I pointed out in the blog before my Christmas message; there is a massive cognitive dissonance in main stream Christian thought. Christians regard the crucifixion of Jesus as the necessary perfect sacrifice in order to save fallen mankind BUT in order for that to take place the then chosen people had to disbelieve in Jesus as Messiah. Even the Roman Governor didn't want to have Jesus killed. Doesn't really make logical sense, right?

I spoke about another one (cognitive dissonance) in the subsequent blog too. We need to revise our understanding of both Jesus (as Messiah) and God - since God is good, all the time and has never behaved in a psychopathic way as the current understanding of the Fall of Man indicates. On the 'Home' page under 'basic points' are several topics where - using the same Bible - a completely different understanding can be found. Why don't You check it out?

As we are made in the image of God we need an example to follow as so much is lost when trying to convey an idea in words. This is why Jesus said things like, "Believe in me." This is in the same kind of ballpark as how parents educate children - not so much by what is said but by what the parents actually do.

Jesus left without even saying all that he wanted and, in addition, had to use figurative speech. It's small wonder that there are so many different denominations in Christianity. (Jn.3:12; 16:12 &25) Jesus left behind the ideology of bridegroom and bride where Jesus is the bridegroom and mankind needs to become the bride.

Hoping that you'll be inspired to look into this further. You can check that it's worthwhile by verifying the evidence that the Messiah/ Christ must have already come between the years of 1917 - 1930 according to the two parallel periods. That is: from Abraham (first Father of Faith) to Jesus compared with the prolongation period (due to the faithlessness of the 1st Chosen People) from Jesus to the 2nd Advent of Christ. The record of the years for the 1st period is in the Bible; and for the prolongation period it is shown in the history of Western Europe (history of Christianity)

You owe it to yourself to check this out. Remember how the (church) Synagogue Leaders would have regarded Jesus had you been able to ask them!

I came to Christ through the Lord at His Second Coming. I have been connected with what some would regard as a ‘New Age cult’ for more than 40 years. I want, through this website, to share what I’ve come to understand, and show that it stands up to scrutiny, and criticism.

Until quite recently I had regarded Christians as the enemy of the Lord of the Second Advent! But then, through Rev. Moon’s successor, Hyung Jin Moon, after his ‘Breaking the Silence’ (2015 January) where he emphasized the Bible (KJV) and spoke almost exclusively of Jesus, grace and faith I decided to connect with a Christian church (Belmont Church in Harrow, London, UK) to find out about these aspects of faith and grace which I had no idea about.

My strength was the words of truth, as I saw it, that were contained in the ‘Exposition of the Divine Principle’. This is the basic teaching of the Rev. Sun Myung Moon that, for me, made sense of the Bible.

That Hyung Jin Moon (aka Sean Moon) has since become irrelevant is regrettable but should not become a stumbling block. The 8 Great Sacred Texts (available on the Resources page) constitute the New Age Truth that we need to connect with (from the Lord of the Second Coming) and, I believe, these are absolute.

So began a journey that opened up the teaching of Rev Moon to an understanding where I came to realize that I am a Christian, Jesus IS the Messiah (as opposed to was the Messiah) and a complete reappraisal of this teaching which is what I want to share through this means.

OK; there are abridged explanations and sudden conclusions already but I will deal with those if you write to me; let us reason together - and test all things and hold fast to what is good! Also a lot of these can be overcome by reading, "The Exposition of the Divine Principle".

Thanks for engaging with this and I hope to hear from you so that we can share together as brothers and sisters in Christ and arrive at an understanding of the Gospel of the Kingdom of Heaven that is more to do with 1 Corinthians 3:16 than John 3:16 Thank You for visiting this website.

    Let us reason together . . .
