Deja Vu! But...

I've just corrected all the slightly off pronunciations of my English accent voice, reading the above named speech. And a new 'zip' file has been uploaded to the AudioBook download page.

The cover art is from www.aclc.info/ and they have a pdf download available for this speech - so you can read it while you listen or, even, print it. It is about 29 pages of letter size. ACLC is an FLA that stands for American Clergy Leadership Conference.

This is a really essential reading to understand the rationale of Sun Myung Moon's assertion that Jesus did NOT come to die. It also explains logically, and with reference to the Holy Bible, that John the Baptist lost faith and, therefore, became "less than the least" in the kingdom of heaven.

The 14 mp3 chapters are numbered, and titled, for easy reference to check out the new truth topic by topic, without having to listen to the whole speech straightaway, which is over an hour long. In making this AudioBook I have listened to it three times to check it; and it is well worth it. Very few Christians really think deeply about the enormity of the first chosen peoples inability to recognize Jesus as the Messiah; and to try to understand and learn from this, to not make a similar kind of mistake.

Jesus spoke in a guarded way and even his disciples didn't understand some of his parables. Jesus did promise, however, to speak clearly and plainly the 2nd time of coming.

For example, I am amazed that the prophecy in Malachi (the last book of the Old Testament) and 400 years in measured time from then until Jesus; spoke about the prophet Elijah's return before "the great and terrible day of the Lord." That this prophecy was fulfilled, according to Jesus (no less), with a different person, with a different name, is very significant, is it not?

Unfortunately John the Baptist denied being the Elijah, and never actually followed Jesus. This is explained logically and, again, with reference to the Holy Bible, in this speech. It is definitely a primer, an essential reading for our time.

Hoping that you will explore the truth of the Divine Principle and investigate these matters thoroughly from your engaging with this seminal speech given over 50 years ago! But, still fresh and totally relevant to this time. Thanking You!

New AudioBook for you. This has probably not been listened to enough as it is over an hour in length. But, I'm thinking that it will be more appealing now that it has been split up into 14 chapters. The question of Elijah is a case in point and Jesus' prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane another.
The picture above has been made into a link to the 'zip' file for this audio book. The 14 files are mp3 with a British accent voice.

The voice can be improved as the pronunciation in some cases is a little off. But it doesn't detract from the understanding and I therefore launched it so that you can check these very interesting ideas out for yourself. Can see why the first chosen people made such a misjudgment with their regard of Jesus; who was, from their point of view, a controversial figure and yet was very challenging for them too.
Christianity under the current administration in the USA is going through a revival and for that I am glad. The real America seems to be coming back strongly aligning with the spirit of the Founding Fathers.
The motivation behind these AudioBooks is to make these provocative, but logical ideas that Sun Myung Moon gave more accessible. They deserve to be talked about and discussed.
I'm hoping that you will make some time to listen to, at least, one chapter.
My main criticism of those who dismiss these ideas is that many people have not investigated them at all for themselves. Hoping that will change this year.

This is the speech I heard from Rev Moon when I first joined The Holy Spirit Association for the Unification of World Christianity; otherwise known as the 'Moonies'. I was in Julie Barnes' fundraising team and she knew that he was speaking in Lancaster Gate, London UK and drove there and we went to the crowded Ballroom where he was already speaking. This was also the first time I saw Rev. Moon in person. This speech helped me to catch the real situation of mankind who were like prisoners of war in a prison camp but not recently captured, instead being the offspring of prisoners many generations down the line who'd become accustomed to living there, and knew of no other life to compare it to.

This speech was given in 1978 July 16th and I had joined the previous year moving all my stuff out of a caravan that I'd been living in, on a farm in Glenmavis, Scotland the day before, and arriving at Dunbar Manor House on November 30th to start a 21 day workshop the following day.

Of course i had no idea then how difficult it would be to convince my family and friends at the time, and thought that things would change in 4 or 5 years at most. How wrong I was...

As a good collateral benefit, it helped me understand how hard it was for Jesus to make a breakthrough, when he was starting out on his public ministry, with people who were far from ideal because he was rejected by the religious leaders at the time; and he had to make do with good hearted but, otherwise, unqualified people.

Since 3 years I haven't done much with this website which was made with the motivation to make these teaching accessible and accurate as much as possible. But now i feel times have changed.

I recently had the inspiration to offer audiobook downloads as mp3 that could reside in your music, or audio collection, and be listened to while driving, walking the dog, or travelling. Rev Moon recommended early morning gathering for study (Hoon Dok Hae) and these books on the Audiobook download page are all fundamental teachings, that we need to make sense of the Bible, and bring about unification rather than further different denominations.

I feel strongly that the USA is going through a fundamental reset and people generally are looking at things afresh. The current administration of America is doing things very differently with regard to alignments, and trade, with respect to sovereignty; refraining from imposing regime changes from without but willing to support the will of the people and show, by example, a more effective way of doing things. These significant changes seem to support the idea that people will likely revisit Rev. Moon and the many projects that he was engaged in, and his core teaching.

One of my main criticisms of people who denigrate Rev Moon is that they have not investigated the teachings for themselves. One main reason is that people are so busy getting money to just live, that they tend not to make time for it. I'm hoping that a benefit from more disposable income being available, as well as earning it in a shorter period will give rise to people sharing more time with each other and investigating the 'new truth' from Rev Moon contained in the Exposition of the Divine Principle especially, but also in seminal speeches such as 'The new Future of Christianity' and the 'Peace Messages'.

The picture that has been used as artwork for the speech (that was the title of this blog) is the UK HQ of The Unification Church back then. It brings back happy memories to see it. I hope that Christianity can yet be unified and, thus, become much more powerful for our Heavenly Father, God to express Himself through.

The New Future of Christianity - time for a revisit (from September 18th, 1974)

Yesterday, I was able to complete the Audio Book for this speech. In addition, it was a first time for me to do this using exclusively Linux. The speech was given in Madison Square Garden, New York in 1974 September 18th to a standing room only crowd of 25,000. There was also an estimated 15,000 more people gathered outside while Rev Moon delivered his message, creating an exciting atmosphere there too.

This Speech is featured on the Home Page of this website, under the category: 'Necessary reading to get up to speed'. This is because a lot of people who criticize, and declare, that Rev Moon is a charlatan, have never actually studied his teaching.
The purpose of this website is to make these teachings easily accessible, as well as attractively presented. (Not just, 'copy and paste' from other sources) Another important issue has been to ensure that the PDF version of the text, concurs in every way with the printed versions, that were available at the time.
The voices are from Speechelo, and the one I chose does sound very like the current White House Press Secretary. (which was probably why I liked it) The speech has a duration of approx 80 minutes but, it is divided into 'chapters' expressing a particular idea as denoted in the book that was published of this speech in 1974. (American Library of Congress Catalogue Number 74-24931)

For example, 'John the Baptist was Elijah', can be listened to, explaining this important point, in just over 2 minutes; with the following section, 'John the Baptist - Man of Failure' in just over 12 minutes. The also controversial topic heading, 'Jesus Did Not Come to Die' is important to engage with, and is bracketed with 'The Bible is a Coded Message' and, 'Slaves to the Letter of the Old Testament'. As I said, this is necessary reading to get up to speed.
I was very impressed with the content of this when I first came in contact with the missionary volunteers in 1977; and I bought a whole box of these books to give to all my fellow work colleagues at the Electricity Supply Industry in Coatbridge, near Glasgow, Scotland, where I worked. I distributed these before the workday started and then handed in my resignation letter - so that I could join this group. I remember that it was a very stormy day; totally fitting from my point of view.
The speech starts with Rev Moon stating that he did not come to talk about things that, 'you already know'. He came to share something new, which turned out to be a new revelation from God, no less.
I feel that the atmosphere has already radically changed these days, in that many people realize (myself included) that the mainstream media has not been objectively imparting news, but, rather, couching it in such a way as to influence how people perceive what is happening. I believe recent events like the Twin Towers, the demise of Princess Diana, and, more recently, the epidemic know as Covid has enabled people to feel this at a personal, visceral, level.
So, I think that people may want to re-visit Rev Moon and realize that there was a Derangement Syndrome that was leveled toward him at that time.
To cut to the chase here, please have a fresh look at this seminal speech, as an AudioBook that you can download (as a 'zip' file) to sit with your mp3 music collection.

Introducing the AudioBooks download page

I want to make this content more readily available as AudioBooks that can be sitting together with your music collection to edify You while you're driving, exercising, washing up etc. Due to upload constraints of <250mb the books have been split into 'a', 'b' and so on, but this is probably a good thing as it's likely less intimidating.
I feel lately that the search for truth is going to heat up and, because of that, many people will want to revisit the teaching of Rev Sun Myung Moon who had a very bad press at the time (to say the least about that) which I was privileged to experience first hand.
A primary motive of this website was to make these teachings accurate in that the PDFs on this web-site align with the printed copies that were readily available before 2012. So far I've been able to check three of these: The Exposition of the Divine Principle, which is the fundamental teaching and the one that I first came across when I met with these people back in 1977; The Sermons of the Rev Sun Myung Moon, in 7 volumes, which are from the 1950s when he spoke almost exclusively about Jesus; and the Peace Messages (of which there are 17) which have been meticulously checked that they concur completely with a book that my lovely wife brought back from Korea.

The voices used are from Speechelo but they sound quite good and are far from robotic.
The books are uploaded as zip files otherwise they couldn't be uploaded as a book. I tried it out on my phone and was able to find the downloaded file from a file explorer app quite easily, and just touching the file made it unpack straightaway so that I was able to play it very soon after. Hoping that you'll have the same experience!
America has changed a lot in this last year and is moving in a very good way to make things more affordable such that 'we the people' are going to have to spend less time on getting money to live and will have more time to reflect, research and spend time with family, friends and neighbors.
Rev Moon was concerned about the corruption that was prevalent in America and likened himself as a doctor to cure this sickness, or as a fireman to put out the conflagration. I can see that these things have been dealt with in a very conspicuous way by the current administration in direct contrast to the previous administration which has been summed up as an Autopen picture put by the Rose Garden in the White House on the West Wing Colonnade.
For sure, we're living in interesting times which are even more incredible than the book with that title from Terry Pratchett. Hoping that you feel this way too and are as excited as I am to see how this will develop in transforming the world and facilitate a major spring-clean to prepare for the forth coming Cosmic Spring. Praise God!!!
